How to Create a New Vision of Yourself
Think about where you want to be in your sales career in 5 years. Now that you have your destination, you need to become the sales person that you need to get you there. This is part of creating a new vision of yourself, a representation of your future self and the desire to achieve your goals. The easiest way to get started towards this new vision is to create your personal creed, a personal statement that you will use to affirm your goals and intentions. Just think of it as programming your brain with a positive message that can help you combat negative influence and conflict. Here is my creed to give you an example of how to get started.
“This is a new day. It does not matter what has happened in the past, and I won’t worry about the future. I am going to live in the Now. I forgive those who have harmed me, and I am going to let go of my anger and resentment. I forgive myself for the mistakes I’ve made, and I let go of my own self-doubt. I am destined for greatness. Today is my new day.”
